Contest 65 Submissions
Hello everyone, and a special welcome to any new members! Please feel free to jump straight into competition whenever you feel comfortable, and don't forget to take a look at our community guidelines and community icons. Comment on this entry to suggest future TnT or contest topics!
Your topic for this week is brought to you by a random word generator:
It seems like there are limitless clichés regarding new horizons and broadening horizons, but don't forget about the literal horizon! Boats seem to disappear into it when you watch from the shore and planes orient themselves on it, but it's nothing more than a concept: when you start moving, the horizon moves too. It's not a set location but more of an unattainable goal. Where is your horizon?
Submissions will close Thursday, September 13, 5 pm EDT (9 pm GMT).
Note: Trigger warnings will be listed with your entry in the polls. Any other authors' notes may go on your entry. Good luck, and happy writing!
