Yes, I missed last weekend, but I have a really good excuse - two Halloween parties and my birthday. If that doesn't get me off the hook, I don't know what will!

This weekend is officially the first weekend of NaNoWriMo. Anyone out there doing it? I got a late start, and am doing a bad job of it so far today (curse you and your addictiveness, Pinterest! Plus, I've read a book and am now watching a movie, I can really procrastinate!). But, as my fortune cookie said, "where there's a will, there's a way". I can make up for lost time if I really put my mind to it.

Total NaNo word count 252. It's in my head. It just doesn't want to appear on the screen.

For once, I had a decent idea, but it's just not coming out. Oh well, plenty of days left! And I can always abandon this idea and and start over... wouldn't be the first time I changed stories mid-month!
